This investment includes the acquisition of advanced aircraft weighing equipment capable of weighing aircraft up to the size of an Airbus A320 and Boeing 737, along with extensive training for our team to ensure expert operation. This new capability is set to elevate our comprehensive suite of aviation solutions.
Aircraft operators face significant challenges in maintaining compliance with safety regulations, especially after incorporating aircraft modifications, interior reconfigurations, or equipment upgrades. These changes can alter an aircraft’s empty weight and centre of gravity, impacting flight performance and stability. MEMKO, already offering a comprehensive suite of aircraft services, introduced this capability to ensure accurate weight and balance measurements, further supporting our clients in maintaining safe and efficient operations.
MEMKO have invested in the General Electrodynamics Corporation (GEC) LPA400X, an all-rounder system which allows for quicker weight and balance measurements, enabling aircraft to be returned to service faster. With an accuracy of ±0.1% of applied load, and 1 lb. graduations, the LPA400X delivers exceptional precision and efficiency.
