Australian switchgear engineering firm NOJA Power confirms the forthcoming release of a Remote Control option for their NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® Load Break Switch.

The NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® is the world’s first solid dielectric insulated load break switch with an integrated visible isolation gap.
Remote control for the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® is based on the proven NOJA Power RC Series controls, combined with a motor accessory fitted to the Load Break Switch.
Key applications for this technology include the maintenance of rural lines, where working points of isolation might be a long distance upstream from the maintenance worksite.
Remote control of isolation can offer operational cost savings, and offer control room visibility of network status and works progress
